German-French-Italian-English dictionary of plant names and technical terms used in the NFI. Definitions are given for the terms highlighted in yellow.
mixed stand
Stand consisting of at least two tree species both with an ecologically important share (according to TFW). Used in the NFI for a stand where broadleaves and conifers cover at least 10% each of the basal area, cf. degree of mixture, pure stand.- [de] Mischbestand
Bestand aus mindestens zwei Baumarten, welche beide einen ökologisch wesentlichen Anteil aufweisen (nach TFW). Im LFI Bestand mit einem Anteil von Laub- und Nadelholz von je mindestens 10% der Basalfläche, vgl. dazu Mischungsgrad, Reinbestand. - [fr] peuplement mélangé
Peuplement composé au moins de deux essences qui prennent chacune une part écologique importante (selon TFW). Dans l'IFN, peuplement avec une part de feuillus et de résineux d'au moins 10% chacun de la surface terrière. cf. degré de mélange, peuplement pur. - [it] popolamento misto
Popolamento composto da almeno due specie arboree con entrambe un evidente ruolo ecologico (da TFW). Nell'IFN si intende un popolamento con una porzione sia di latifoglie che di conifere di almeno il 10% in area basimetrica, vedi grado di mescolanza, popolamento puro.
