The NFI’s series of deeply complex data, which has been collected over long periods of time, is the foundation for countless reports and publications. Therefore, all data collected within the framework of the project is stored and organized in databases. With constant maintenance, the value of these databases appreciates over time. At the same time, the information is available to users for immediate evaluation.
The following processes and data are covered by the NFI databases:
- Production of raw data (data from field surveys, interpretations of aerial photography data, geodata)
- Operating applications (raw data applications, analysis applications, website - www.lfi.ch)
- Compilation of results (derivation data, result tables)
