Hauptbestand
Bestandesschicht, die den Bestand prägt und auf der das Hauptgewicht der Holzproduktion liegt. Ausser im Gebüschwald bilden in der Regel die herrschenden und mitherrschenden Bäume den Hauptbestand. Siehe auch Bestand, Nebenbestand.
peuplement principal
Strate qui caractérise le peuplement et sur laquelle repose l’essentiel de la production de bois. À l’exception de la forêt buissonnante, le peuplement principal est généralement formé des arbres dominants et codominants. Voir aussi Peuplement, Peuplement accessoire.
popolamento principale
Strato che caratterizza il popolamento e sul quale si basa in gran parte la produzione di legname. Fatta eccezione per gli arbusteti, il popolamento principale è formato generalmente dagli alberi dominanti e codominanti. Vedi anche Popolamento, Popolamento accessorio.
main stand
Stand layer that shapes the stand and that is the most important for timber production. Apart from in shrub forest, the dominant and co-dominant trees usually form the main stand. See also stand, secondary stand.
